Yes, You can be assured that 7 Souls Tattoo and Piercing requires each artist to hold client safety as the first and foremost priority. 

Everyone here at 7 Souls Tattoo strictly adheres to Universal precautions and Blood Borne Pathogen Safety. 

We have the highest level of sterilization possible and go above and beyond all local health codes and laws. We do have a digital consent/waiver form which identifies certain instances when it would not be appropriate for an individual to receive a tattoo or piercing, but these are very rare instances.

With proper ID, 18 years old. With parental/guardian consent, escort, and proper documentation, 16 minimum. Parent or legal guardian MUST be present during the entire procedure. Documentation for a minor to be tattooed would consist of parent/guardian’s government issued ID (re: passport or driver’s license), minors identification (re: drivers license, drivers permit or school ID) and minors birth certificate or official guardianship documentation. ALL 3 forms of identification must be presented and photocopied on the day the tattoo and/or piercing is to be done. Only a birth certificate or legal guardianship document will provide that information. Customers’ last name MUST MATCH WITH THE last name on the birth certificate. All documents provided must be originals, no duplicates or photocopies will be accepted! You will not be tattooed or pierced without this NO EXCEPTIONS. ONLY a parent or legal guardian (with legal documentation) can sign for a minor.

That depends on the size of the piece, the detail involved, location on the body where it will be placed, and finally which artist you’ve chosen. Artists rates vary and each shop has a minimum for any tattoo. You can email us with a description AND photo and we can give you a rough estimate.  

Some pieces cannot be completed in one sitting. Your artist will provide a quote once you meet and go over the details and design of what you want. Keep in mind though, if another studio is willing to do your tattoo super cheap, you get what you pay for and this is going to be on you forever. If you do go for the super cheap shop see question on fixing a bad tattoo!

Piercing Prices prices vary at each shop. Call the individual shop for piercing prices.

Our artists can usually cover up or fix most tattoos-even really bad ones so you would never even know they were there. We are always honest though. If we don’t think it can be successfully covered we will let you know and work with you on what options you do have so you will ultimately be happy. We never do a tattoo just to make a buck. This is a really good group of artists who take tremendous pride in their work and art. Be assured that the artwork on your body and how you feel about it is a reflection on them – meaning your satisfaction is VERY important!

Tattoo deposits work as a way of you financially committing to your upcoming tattoo appointment. Without this monetary protection, artists and shops could lose a significant amount of money due to clients backing out. Deposits are needed in order to cover the artist’s time, researching process and drawing your stencil out. 

The deposit currently ranges from $50-$100 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit at the time your appointment is made or to have your artist commit to drawing up a tattoo design for you prior to your appointment. 

The deposit is applied to the final cost of the tattoo on the day of your next appointment. 

The deposit amount varies from artist to artist because their hourly rates vary. 

ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON REFUNDABLE & NONTRANSFERABLE from one artist to another. Upon leaving a deposit with 7 Souls Tattoo & Piercing, you agree that the entire deposit will be forfeited if your appointment is cancelled entirely. 

You may transfer a deposit to a new appointment date IF you reschedule a full 24 hours prior to the original appointment.

Should the appointment or tattoo design be changed under the required 24 HR MINIMUM, a new deposit for a new appointment is required! Providing us with a minimum of 24 hrs notice will guarantee that your deposit will carry over to the new appointment date.

For multi-session tattoos, the deposit will be transferred over to each session and will be held as payment towards the last session of the tattoo.

Your deposit will be forfeited if:

  • You cancel or reschedule 24 hours prior to your appointment 
  • You don’t confirm your appointment 24 hours before your appointment. 
  • There is a no show 
  • If you are 15+ minutes late to your appointment.  
    • (Please take into consideration travel time, rush hour traffic and parking and call us immediately if you feel you may be even at least 1 minute late)
  • If client chooses to cancel (at any time)
  • If you show up and completely change your tattoo design
  • You show up with a minor child. We can’t have unattended children in the shop – you will be unable to move during a tattoo procedure.
  • If you need to reschedule and do not get tattooed within a 1 year period
  • If you arrive to your tattoo appointment without government-issued identification

If we did the tattoo within a six (6) month period, usually. Unless it’s clear that you did not follow the artist’s instructions; therefore, making it your fault your tattoo did not heal properly in which case you must pay for it to be fixed. 

Feet and hands are not usually touched up for free. Also, tattoos on the hands, fingers, inner lip, white ink tattoos or other areas that your artist warned you prior to the procedure may require touch ups and thus is your choice knowing that certain areas do not hold ink well and you will be responsible for paying for a touch up. 

We do not make appointments for touch ups, walk-ins only. Also, touch ups can only be done Monday-Thursday. Contact the shop for availability the day you want to come in. If you’re looking to get a coverup of a tattoo, please keep in mind that many coverup tattoos can take more than one session to cover up your original tattoo. These multiple sessions, if necessary, are at the customer’s expense.
