THIS IS MY FIRST PIERCING. WHAT SHOULD I DO/NOT DO BEFORE I COME IN?

PLEASE DO:
Be sure to have your state or federally issued photo ID. Wear comfy clothes that offer easy access to the area you would like pierced. Bathe/shower/brush your teeth. You are potentially going to be in close proximity with your piercer for a little while, good personal hygiene is greatly appreciated. Have a good meal. Be well hydrated.

PLEASE DON’T:
Consume drugs or alcohol, or have consumed alcohol any time in the past 12 hours.
Take any painkillers, no aspirin or aspirin derivatives, they will thin your blood.

For any piercing on a minor (17 and under), the minor will need a valid (non-expired) government, federal or state-issued identification. The said document shall show their date of birth as well as a photo. A nondriver’s license or passport satisfies both requirements. In addition, we require a valid (non-expired) government issued identification from the parent or legal guardian. Lastly, we require a copy of the minor’s birth certificate, showing the parent’s name and relation to the minor. If the legal guardian is not a parent, they must show legal guardianship paperwork. The parent or legal guardian must be present at the time of the piercing.
No. The gun forces blunt jewelry through your body causing unnecessary damage to the tissue. We use a sharp, single-use, hollow needle that makes a clean perforation. The jewelry is then installed, typically with the use of a taper.
Everyone has a different threshold for pain and certain areas of the body are more sensitive than others. You shouldn’t let that stop you from getting what you want, where you want. Most piercings are a slight pinch for a second or two, then it is over.

No. We pierce:

  • ears at 8+
  • ears, face, navel at 14+
  • nipples, genitals at 18+

Tips are accepted and greatly appreciated for exceptional service, as in any other industry, but not required. Leaving a genuine review on any of our social media platforms is another way to tip.
The standard jewelry that we use is implant grade ASTM F-136 titanium and 14k gold. We carry Neometal, Buddha Jewelry Organics, Junipurr and more.
We will not pierce with jewelry you bring in, you can choose from our wide variety of threadless ends for your new piercing. Once your piercing is FULLY healed, we can perform a jewelry change with your own jewelry.
NO, jewelry placed in a fresh piercing should remain throughout the entire healing period (see healing time) UNLESS you require a downsize, upsize, or removal. If this is the case, we strongly suggest coming back to us for assistance. However, you can change the threadless end (decorative top piece) of your jewelry at any time during the healing process.

The healing times listed under AFTERCARE are general time frames which vary from person to person. Your piercing may take longer or be faster than the stated time. Keep in mind that the healing times can be affected by factors like climate, stress levels, diets, trauma, and travel.
